The User shall agree to all of these Terms of Use (“Terms”) before downloading or using PSCD dataset (“Dataset”). The User agrees that the use of Dataset constitutes his/her agreement to Terms. When the User uses Dataset, the agreement (“Agreement”) shall be deemed to have been concluded in accordance with Terms.
The User may only use Dataset for academic research purposes. It is free to use for research purposes by academic institutes, companies, and individuals. The User shall not redistribute Dataset without our permission. When using Dataset in an academic paper, the User shall cite the following paper as a reference:@inproceedings{sakurada2020weakly,

AIST shall not be liable to the User for any defects in Dataset including any liability for non-conformance to any relevant agreement. AIST shall neither make any warranty nor be liable for the performance or quality of, and technical, economic, and any other matters regarding Dataset.
AIST does not warrant to the User that the use of Dataset by the User under Terms will not use or infringe the rights (not only intellectual property rights but also any and all rights) of any third party or otherwise require permission from any third party. In the event that a dispute arises due to the alleged infringement of the rights of any third party due to the use of Dataset, the User shall resolve the dispute at his/her own cost and on his/her own responsibility. AIST shall not be liable for any such infringement. AIST shall not be either legally or contractually liable for any damages suffered by the User due to use.
AIST may upgrade Dataset without notice. The User shall use the latest version of Dataset when it is released and discard the older version.
AIST may modify or amend Terms as it deems necessary,
(i) if the amendment to Terms conforms to the general interest of the
User; or
(ii) if the amendment to Terms does not run afoul of the purpose of the contract, and it is reasonable in light of the circumstances concerning the amendment such as the necessity of the amendment, the appropriateness of the details of the amended conditions, and other circumstances related to the modification.
In the event of any change to Terms, AIST shall inform the effective time and content of the modification terms by posting on the website.
Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan without regard to the principles of the conflict of laws thereof. Any and all disputes arising out of or in connection with Agreement shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction agreed of the Tokyo District Court at the first instance.
When the User downloads or uses Dataset, Agreement shall be deemed to have been concluded in accordance with Terms.
